Health Care

I've been thinking about the health care debate, and something occurred to me.
The quality and availability of health care that I receive should not, in any fashion, be tied to, or associated with the profits of a business. But, the way our system is set up now, that's exactly what's happening.

Insurance companies are in business to profit... bottom line.

Anyone from any for-profit company who says any differently needs to go wade through a pool, because their pants are on fire.

They don't give a flying rip about my health, unless my health has some loophole that allows them to drop my coverage when I need to pay a medical bill. Really. When an insurance company receives a claim, they weed through it to deny payment on every item they can possibly deny. I mean, they're a business for heaven's sake, they've got to maximize their profits.

How sick is that?
