Whew. Just Finished the 5K.
June 19, 2010I finished in 31 minutes, Mel finished in 33 minutes. Josh did 23 minutes, if I remember correctly. Jordan ran with us, too.

World Market
We dropped in on World Market yesterday while we were waiting for the movie to begin.
They have some of the coolest stuff.
The Karate Kid
We watched The Karate Kid in Greenville last night. It was cool except for the hand-held camera movement.

I have an affinity for new technology, and for people who use new technology. For example, the other day, I got giddy when I saw that Walgreens will text you when your prescription is ready.
I've been checking into Google Voice lately, and it looked cool. Problem is, it's by invite only. However, I found out they give priority invites to anyone with a .edu email address.
Eureka! I used my status as a student to get me one of those invites.
Now, I am an excited user of Google Voice! Since I have a smart phone, I can read my voicemails via my email now instead of having to call my voicemail number and trying to find a quiet spot.

I registered us for the Festival of Flowers 5K. Let's do it!
I think Mel might beat me in this one; I'm a little heavy right now (on purpose).
Registration forms are at the Chamber of Commerce, or just show up the day of the run. Come on out!
