Just Nod if You Can Hear Me

I have an affinity for new technology, and for people who use new technology. For example, the other day, I got giddy when I saw that Walgreens will text you when your prescription is ready.

I've been checking into Google Voice lately, and it looked cool. Problem is, it's by invite only. However, I found out they give priority invites to anyone with a .edu email address.

Eureka! I used my status as a student to get me one of those invites.

Now, I am an excited user of Google Voice! Since I have a smart phone, I can read my voicemails via my email now instead of having to call my voicemail number and trying to find a quiet spot.
