Central Park
April 8, 2010You can see the ancient striations on the rocks. If you visit Central Park, you'll notice all the scratches on the rocks are going more or less in the same direction. That's because the massive ice sheets that covered much of North America during the last Ice Age etched the underlying rocks when they receded.
