2013 Vacation Plans
May 23, 2012We had to take a vacation hiatus this year while our old house was on the market. The sale closed recently, so that means we can plan a 2013 vacation!
Here's what we're doing.
We will drive a rental to Chicago, then catch the California Zephyr to San Francisco. We're going to buy a family bedroom for this leg of the trip since it will take 52 hours.
Once in California, we'll rent a car and roam around. I know we want to drive up the coast... maybe hit up some wineries and visit Redwood National Park.
I don't know when we'll go, but I would like to schedule the trip so we can catch a cool concert or festival in Chicago or San Francisco.
When we're done, we'll fly straight back home. Can't wait!
