Checking in on some changes going on at schools I attended here in Greenwood

This is where Southside used to be; it's completely gone now. What you see here is to be the new Mathews Elementary.

This is the car-riders' entrance to Mathews. I can clearly remember the first time I walked in there in 1981. I spent the following school year bored. I actually didn't learn anything I did not already know until 2nd or 3rd grade.

Since I took the risk of parking my car on Gage Street for this photo, I hope it arouses good memories (for former GATAS students) of Dr. Bob, bean bags, lofts, and that phenomenal playground.
